Tips Of bargaining

I am local (Indonesian) and of course I know how to bargain. However I would like to share this tip to non-Indonesian who would like to visit tourists spot in Indonesia especially Bali. Make sure prior to the trip you make a friend or preferably friendssssss with Indonesians (I dont know, via internet/emails) specially with ones who reside in the area where you are going to travel to. when you get there, before you start shopping, get the local prices of the items you want from your local friends. After that you can do all the bargain by yourself. Make sure you leave your "compassion" home. These sellers are very good actors and never trust every single word from them. If they can rip local tourist off, they can even rip you off more!... NEVER ever go bargaining when your local friend(s) is with you cause he/she will get a lot of trouble from the sellers.
