Bring Water with You

A few months back the Gold Coast Queensland was in serious drought. On the radio in Brisbane people were being told to bring water with them to save the Gold Coasts supply. As we booked into the hotel we were staying at we happened to mention that we were from Brisbane, had heard the ads and so had brought our own water with us. To our amazement no-one we spoke to on the Gold Coast had even heard that people were being asked to do this. They looked at us as if we were strange bringing water with us on a holiday. So much for trying to do the right thing... None the less we take our own filtered water with us everywhere we go. Having once having an allergic reaction to Adelaide's water ending up in hospital I have learnt my lesson. We half fill and freeze 600ml plastic bottles and top them up just before we leave on a trip each day. The frozen half of the bottle ensures that we have a constant supply of cool water all day.
