my recent trip to Melbourne

recently I returned to melbourne for a school reunion, which I attended in the 60's, as I had not been to Melbourne in over 20 years wanted to reminisce and visit places I had not seen for many years and visit new places I had never seen before. My mother is not with me anymore, but felt the whole week I was there she was walking beside me and enjoying the visit as well and I must say I walked for miles and miles. I also took a day trip to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula and enjoyed the sights of a lavender farm and sampled some of the wonderful wines, which are come from that area. A wonderful visit on a Sunday to St. Kilda remembering the days when I was at school and would attend the saturday matinee at the local picture theater there and then wander across the road to luna park, which to this day looks exactly the same. The visit to the MCG, which I remember as a child seeing the opening of the olympic games there, so after a week I felt one of these days before very long I would revisit Melbourne again
